Even a pandemic cannot stop the big fat Indian wedding. Close on the heels of the news that a couple booked an entire flight to have a wedding in the skies, several tales of big weddings in violations of
lockdown norms are emerging from the state.
Recently raids were conducted on two such weddings in the state. At Chikkamagaluru district, the groom is said to have made a run for it leaving the bride behind at the hall when officials conducted a raid.
