Local News: Commission discusses tile flooring in county courthouse, Pioneer Trails (5/13/21)

During the Saline County Commission meeting on Thursday morning, May 13, Northern Commissioner Stephanie Gooden gave an update on the tile project for the Saline County Courthouse.
“This past weekend, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the second floor had the top layer of tile containing asbestos removed, and we are down to the original building tile,” she said. “It’s pretty neat to see. So if you would like to, go up and look at it. We are going to be replacing that tile with the same period look, and this tile I believe is coming straight from England.”
