Local hospitals receive increased funding though new stabilization effort

Local hospitals will see an increase in funding as a result of a one-time investment of $22 million from the provincial government to establish a Small and Northern Hospital Stabilization Fund.

In a joint statement, MPPs Lisa Thompson (Huron-Bruce) and Rick Byers (Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound) announced $7,405,600 in base funding to "deliver faster, more convenient access to healthcare closer to home".
