GRAND BASSA — Prior to the construction of the new incinerator and placenta pit, the Liberia Government Hospital in Grand Bassa County, the Incinerator and Placenta Pit were outdated as need for new ones could not be overemphasized until the Americares stepped in to help.
In consultation with the Grand Bassa County Health team, Americares agreed to construct a modern incinerator and a placenta pit. The U.S.-based organization also donated to the Zondo Clinic and the Liberian Government Hospital in Grand Bassa County.
