SALEM, Va. – LewisGale is making a big move for cancer treatment in Pulaski and Salem.
The hospital is partnering with Sarah Cannon to expand its services. Now, the facilities will have more advanced care available, from screenings, diagnostics and surgery to radiation, chemotherapy and clinical trials.
This also allows patients to be closer to home for treatment.

LewisGale Regional Health System announced today it has partnered with Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare, to expand its comprehensive cancer services in Southwestern Virginia. The announcement was made during events at cancer centers located on the LewisGale Medical Center and LewisGale Hospital Pulaski campuses, which will now carry the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute name. As part of the partnership, all LewisGale Regional Health System facilities join a collaborative group of Sarah Cannon’s cancer programs
