Support of churches brings cheer to LGBTQ
Santa Claus has brought many delightful presents — and presence — for the LGBTQ community this holly, jolly season as demonstrated by religion, science, literature and pop culture. 
From Springfield to Newark and from Athens to Zanesville, more than 95 churches boldly and publicly support the religious movement for LGBTQ equality.  I write about them, not for them; I speak for no one but myself.
They have repudiated damnable false doctrine — truly damnable false doctrine (II Peter 2:1 and Matthew 18:6) — related to misinterpretation of the Bible and abuse of scripture. See Bishop John Shelby Spong’s book, "Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism."
