Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Police Chief Eric Hawkins deserve praise for clearing an encampment of “social justice warriors” near the police South Station.
Sheehan, as reported, made the move because of city residents’ fears for their safety and ability to access resources, including the Capital City Rescue Mission.
