LeChase Construction Services LLC recently hired Russ Robinson as group leader for the K-12 market in the Elmira/Corning region.
In his role, Robinson will work with school districts on their capital projects before, during and after construction. This includes being involved in building condition surveys and facilities evaluation, pre-referendum planning, collaboration with design teams, preconstruction, budgeting and scheduling, developing strategies for competitive bidding and comprehensive construction management.
Robinson started his career as a carpenter, and has over 30 years of construction experience. For the past two decades, he has worked on over 100 primary and secondary school projects totaling more than $536 million. Projects have ranged from small building upgrades to comprehensive new construction. His resume includes new academic buildings and additions; stadiums and sports facilities; bus garages; heating, ventilating and air conditioning; and technology upgrades and general building renovations.
