League of Revolutionary Black Workers Forced Change in the Auto Industry, UAW

After years of being forced to accept the worst jobs for the lowest pay in the auto industry, Black workers sparked a revolt in the late 1960s. What started as a loose collection of people at a Dodge plant in Detroit grew into the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, whose tenets are still being espoused today.
