Lawyers filing civil lawsuit against Las Animas County Sheriff's Office after man allegedly tased 35 times

This happened during a traffic stop involving Kenneth Espinoza’s son and Las Animas County Sheriff deputies in Trinidad. Espinoza was initially told to move his truck out of the area and refused. Lawyers say when he was moving his truck, he was forcibly removed while being tased 35 time. The Sheriff’s Office says he was only tased once and not struck by deputies.
