The Lagos State Government on Wednesday announced the closure of Lekki Conservation Centre for maintenance. The development comes after a video of a tourist which shows a broken segment of the long canopy walkway within the tourist centre went viral on social media. A statement issued by the Lagos State government on Tuesday evening noted that the broken segment had already been repaired and restored to normal but the site would remain shut for further routine maintenance.
