We have a warm front trying to squeeze in as a result we are keeping with rain and some areas actually there is pockets you can point it out there, yellow and orange on the map those are pockets of heavier, downpours, not lasting too long they are in and out, but some spots dealing with that steady rain. And there is more rain to come throughout the day out to our west a cold front that is going to be passing through today as well. Heres what you can expect. Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in parkland florida will be allowed to return to their school today for counseling and as Laura Podesta shows us there is more new questions this morning about the initial response, to the shooting by some deputies. Broward county Sheriffs Office is investigating claims that three deputies did not go into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School when they should have. Police officers say they arrived shortly after the shooting and found deputies outside, with guns drawn. A fourth Deputy School resource officer Scott Peterson resigned this week. Sheriff said peterson took a defensive position outside the school touring the shooting. Nineteen yearold nikolas cruz is suspect of shooting and killing 17 students and teachers in under 10 minutes on valentines day. On sunday students can return to school for counseling and a orientation. Were going to try and get back to as normal as possible and really take care of the kids that is the bottom line. Back here at home now classes are expect to resume, tomorrow in the Parkland School district in Lehigh County after a fire destroyed a garage full of buses there. The School District is borrowing buses and repairing ones that sustained damage, fire which happened early friday morning, destroyed 16 newly purchased buses and in that garage and damaged bay dozen other buses, parked outside, the price, price tag on that damage is more than two milliondollar. Well, were learning more about a series of crashes involving parked cars along a south street philadelphia. A suspect drug driver hit 15 cars on the same block. Eyewitness News Reporter alycia nieves explains how neighbors made sure that the suspect did not getaway. Reporter shattered glass and plastic car parts still littered this street in south philadelphia, 24 hours after an out of control driver, came down south third street, ramming into one car, after another, after another. He pulled the guy ease belt off and, used that to hold him because he was resisting on the ground. He said im from the neighborhood. I dont care. Reporter Philadelphia Police say when they arrived on the scene that out of control driver was on the ground with the crowd of people from this neighborhood, surrounding him, authorities took him into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence, and identify him as four threeyear old james kieser n south philadelphia, alycia nieves for cbs3 Eyewitness News. Wilmington police have charged two people in a death of a 15 monthold child, this is one of the suspects 37 yearold, levar harris, investigators say the childs mother left her, baby in the care of harris and another suspect last week. Places like willingboro, bristol you will be hearing heavy rain drops on your roof here, delran, moorestown we are dealing with pockets of the heavier rain. That is associated with a warm front moving through this morning, behind the warm front we have a cold front that is going to pass through, so, a soggy sunday morning, but then , that rain is going to be tapering off as we head into the afternoon and sunshine is going to be returning, as we head into monday, i think youll be able to salvage your afternoon plans which is good news, but yes, it is a soggy start to the day. You were training for this, were you armed, you had bulletproof vest, protect more than anybody else who died. Reporter students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School speaking out about Police Reports that four brow ard county Sheriff Deputies stayed outside the building with their weapons drawn, while gunman nikolas cruz was inside, shooting into classroom with a ar15 style rifle. Authorities revealed that one deputy Scott Peterson was not only armed and in uniform but knew there was an active shooter on school grounds. School resource officer was behind a stairwell wall just standing there and he had a gun drawn and pointing it at the building, he froze, he got scared, you know, you did nothing at all, and you could have saved lives. You will look around here and these will be filled, so we have girls from all levels, level three, excel levels all way up to level 10 and elite and they will go around and see abc de and f. So we have College Girls here on friday, and they all unite to help our women at unite for her, that are suffering from Breast Cancer. Yes. And tell me how, important this is for you because you are a Breast Cancer survivor yourself. Yes, to see these girls, oh , their dynamic and they just come out and compete in the sport that they love, they give back and our women see them, they are out here, and, you know, doing their gymnastics and they are fund raising and then they bring those funds to our women who have to deal. We will serve is 1180 woman in the philadelphia area for a full year because of this event. Unite for her is just so honored to be that platform for these girls and to make sure that we have, you know, this beautiful inspiring setting for them to just give back. Reporter these girls come from all across the nation not just philadelphia. I know, they do. Were the largest gymnastic Fund Raising Event in the nation. The girls come from 13 states, we have 3800 athletes. This is our 10 year celebration, so, it is very exciting for us and we think of the fun facts we have had over the years. 23,900 girls have come through the doors at pink invitational in 10 years and we have raised 1. 5 milliondollar for women that are affect by Breast Cancer and a part of our programming which is one year long at unite for her. We have 42,000 complimentary therapy toss our women because of this event. It is so impact full what these girls are doing and they feel empowered and we just love doing that.
