A major manhunt underway in Egg Harbor City this morning. Police are searching for four juveniles who escaped from a youth Detention Center. Lets get back out to Eyewitness News reporter trang do live with the latest on the scene. What can you tell us right now reporter rahel and jim, we have an update from the Atlantic County sheriff. He tells us that a corrections officer was hurt when these four teenagers overpowered him , went on to steel his keys , and then steel a car, and then run off, from the harbor field youth Detention Center. That happened just after midnight, and from then, police have continued to search, for these four teenagers. Now, the bulk of the search was happening around the 900 block ofberger street because that is where these four teenagers, crash the car that they stole, and then ran off, on foot, right now, authorities are urging people to keep their doors lock, to not go outside, if there is no need to, because they have still not located, these four juveniles and they wanted to update us to get this information out to the public because they want people to be able to identify these teenagers and to call police if they do see them. Take a listen to the Atlantic County sheriff these descriptions. First one is a black male, 190pounds, seen wearing white boxers, cream colored shirt, and flipflops, and second subject is black male, 5foot seven, 160pounds wearing cream thermal pants with white boxers, thermal shirt, possibly white tshirt. Third suspect is a white male, 6foot two, 175 basically same description. But just wearing socks. And the fourth subject was 5 foot nine, 150pound wearing check i pants, black polo with the letters ayc embroidered on it, black sneakers and possibly pink socks. They were last seen in the area. And those experts go on to say you cannot just check those Bank Statements for one month, two months, possibly, six months, it takes for the suspicious activity to show up on your Bank Statements. At this point forever 21 is still investigating, they dont know exactly what time frame they are talking about yet but they do believe it happened over seven months from march to october, of this year.
