New this morning, police trying figure out what sparked deadly overnight shooting in north philadelphia. This happened around midnight, on 17th and cumberland streets now, police say a 26 year old man was leaning against a car, when another man walk up and started shooting. Witnesses told police that the victim fell to the ground but the shooter stood over him and kept firing. Police say the gunman shot the victim in the head, face and neck. It appears this was an executiontype homicide. The shooter approached the victim, who was leaning on a vehicle, park unattended vehicle, shooter from point blank range fired several shot at the victim. Now, someone then drove the victim to the 1300 block of rising sun avenue. Officers then returned him to the hospital where he died. So far no arrests have been made. No arrests yet after two men are shot while sitting in a car in strawberry mansion, shooting happened on the 1800 block of north 33 street just before 8 30 last night. One of the victims was shot in the head. He was reported to be in critical condition. The other man in his 20s, was shot in the shoulder and hip. He died at the hospital. Philadelphia investigators tell us they found at least 20 skimming devices in the city alone over the past year, now philly police are showing us one of the latest devices theyve discovered, and theyre asking people to go the extra mile to protect themselves. It will be the same color, everything, you will never know the difference. At times theyre not much bigger than a quarter. Skimming devices are get being smaller, as crooks get more creative in disguising the devices in order to steel your hard earned cash. It can fit either right into the atm machine, so person not suspecting, part of the regular already equipment. This skimmer was installed on an exterior atm at the uni vest bang on rhawn street fox chase section of the city. This is their suspect, and captain lee says he may be part of a theft ring. Police say another device was found at a bank on more land road in willow grove. Meantime, Abington Police are looking for this man. Investigators say he targeted a Citizens Bank in their town. This happened near the intersection of broad and fairmount, just after 10 30 last night. Police say the driver that far car took off after the crash. The victim was returned to the hospital where necessary stable condition. Authorities say theyre now looking for a red Nissan Altima with virginia license plate.
