Memo from the university sent to 1,000 employees said a remediation firm is treating the affected cooling towers. The note is a says in part, that the presence of legionnaires does not mean that a person will contract legionnaires disease. People become infect by inhaling bacteria which causes a severe lung inflammation like pneumonia.
