We can tell you terrifying video shows the actual moment that four suspects armed with guns tried to storm a west mt. Airy home and neighbors in that area who are seeing this video for the first time are rattled and on guard. The home Surveillance Video is Crystal Clear showing the actions of four suspects trying to make entry into this house in the 500 block of burn numb road the first suspect knocks on the door at 10 30 tuesday night. Then looks right up into the camera overhead. Another knock the homeowner quickly open the door before hustling back inside seeing the sawed off shotgun in the hands of one man. Hand guns in the hands of at least three others. Its kind of scary because i was actually sleeping down in my living room last night because the ac down there just to keep cool. And i saw the cop cars out front front. I didnt i had no idea what was going on. Reporter rob steal has lived on the block for seven years right across the street from the attempted home inn vague the suspects ran away never entering the house. We found no one at the home hours after the terrifying footage surfaced. I felt sick hahn neverly. Reporter this neighbor is still too shaken to show her face describing a normally quite narrow tree lined street. Nothing like this has ever happened before. Paul whose 26 and lives in Newtown Square with his mom and dad is autistic. Paul is amazeing. This will make me cry. So he was diagnosed at about two years old. He also has some related issues with anxiety and impulse control and works closely with therapists at the Talk Institute and school. People look me do not have cognitive issues. Just because we cannot communicate like typical people does not mean that we have a lower iq. Until he learned to type when he was 14, paul was trapped with a mindful of ideas and feelings, a personality that he couldnt express. Through typing, we were able to get to know paul for the first time really. But the typing is slow so paul is hoping the at t connect ability challenge will come up with new technologies that allows him to communicate quicker. Innovations from around the world are being submitted. Not just to help possible with communication disorders. The new technology could help people with a variety of disabilityies. A few examples for the blind theres an indoor navigation device. Restroom 35 feet ahead. For people with Movement Disorders their tongue can control technology. And this. One tall cappucino please. For people with paul with trouble talking theres wearable device that speaks customized phrases when a button is pushed. New technologists can be a big part of helping people like me to communicate our thoughts, feelings and needs. Paul tested some of the innovations and so did others with dissables. They will vote on the best inventions the winner gets 100,000. I hope to see some great new tools and spread the idea of designing with empathy. Paul and his family are also hoping the new Technology Helps spread an Important Message about people with dissables. Not being able to speak does not mean that theres Cognitive Impairment and to think twice before you make judgments about people who have motor difficulties. Well, the connect challenge is all about empowering people with disabilities through innovations, winners of the challenge will be announced on july 26th that is the 25th anniversary of the americans with dissables act.
