Former President Trump is named in 13 counts, which include trumps phone call to georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger asking him to find enough votes to overturn bidens win in georgia. Among the others indicted trumps attorneys Rudy Giuliani and john eastman, as well as white house chief of staff mark meadows and georgia gop officials as well as campaign attorney sidney powell. Charges include false statements impersonating a public official , forgery and conspiracy to submit false documents rather than by abide by georgias Legal Process for election challenges. The defendants engaged in a criminal racketeering enterprise to overturn georgias president ial election results. Tonight the Trump Campaign issued a statement before the News Conference saying the investigation was a democratic attack on trumps First Amendment right to free speech. Political analysts say this indictment is the most serious. The former president is facing tonight on the 10 00 news, we spoke to laurie levenson, law professor at Loyola Marymount university. This is very significant because think that some people think trump is running for president. So he can avoid being convicted on the federal charges, but it wouldnt help him even if he gets elected president again. He doesnt have any power to pardon himself on a state offense. And in fact, in georgia, not even the governor could pardon him. It would have to be the pardon board. And after serving five years in prison. So this is a really significant case against him, both in scope, the potential for exposure and the fact that itll be very hard for him to keep a whole group of 91 people together in solidarity when they go to trial, leaving. Johnson says the new charges also carry a mandatory minimum if convicted, she says the defendants could face 5 to 20 years in prison. At least 99 people have now been confirmed dead, most of them in the Historic Town of lahaina. It happened on 26th street near broadway in uptown oakland at 7 00 saturday morning , one Area Business owner posted this video to social media showing the damage the burglars left two auto body shops and two other businesses were targeted. I was shocked. Just to wake up on saturday morning and find out that somebody rammed their car into our garage, our business, and basically broke in. Emily works for a business that was burglarized. All right, checking in on the weather, the rotation of this low south of here is creating this moisture plume coming from the east to the west. Thunderstorms over the last 12 hours all throughout this year in nevada, some showing up down south, down towards gilroy, morgan hill and working their way up towards mount hamilton. That was just an afternoon. All of that has died down except the moisture. The high humidities stay in the area. So temperatures today with the high humidity, were cooler, but they obviously felt more uncomfortable because the humidities were in the 40 and 50th percentile, especially in these inland spots like fairfield. Tomorrow itll be a lot like today, less humidity, about same temperatures, maybe a little bit cooler. But at the same here with less humidity. So it wont feel as hot. Theres this fog out of the coast. You cant see it here. You can see the sea breeze and green that represents sea breeze and as we go into tomorrow, you can see the morning watch these clouds. Boom, thats that southern flow. So theres your humidity, maybe a shower or two north of here, the afternoons fog stays at the coast. And then wednesday morning it continues. When you see that flow, its coming from the gulf of california, a lot of that moisture. So its real volatile. So the potential for thunderstorms on tuesday and wednesday and thursday in lake tahoe area, a pretty real deal. The forecast for tomorrow, you see theres the moisture and then you see the heat. The reds are 90 in the seabreeze, keeping most of that heat just in the inland bay valley. So around the bay, comfortable inland, not so 100 degree forecast in fairfield, 87 in vallejo. Much cooler here in the 71 in pacifica. The five day forecast has got pretty much a significant cooldown showing up as we get into thursday, friday , saturday and sunday. Mayor london breed says 2 million in funding will wipe out fees owed by more than 30,000 students between august of 2017 and december of last year. Researchers say they successfully engineered microbes to make biological alternatives for the Raw Materials that are used to create infinitely recyclable plastics, also known as pdk. While traditional plastics cant be recycled, this new approach creates plastics that can be repeatedly broken down and formed into new products. Whats great about pdk is that they can be chemically recycled back to the original Building Blocks and so you remake the same material all fresh and it loses none of its properties as you recycle it.
