Uc mid90s in livermore, concord and antioch, 64 San Francisco, pacifica 59 degrees, that was the big difference between the clouds of the coast in the sunshine inland. A beautiful look at our sparkling city tonight, as we look at current temperatures in San Francisco 58 degrees, oakland about 71. We are about mid70s in livermore and 68 in san jose. Remember we talked about hurricane elida . Now posttropical elida, you can see the winds sustained at 40 miles per hour, but it is moving to the north and it will help drag tropical moisture toward california. What that could potentially do is provide instability that could then perhaps bring a few thunderstorms to places like the central coast. Lets look at future cast. Here is tomorrow morning. Notice, we dont have the fact that much. It is out of there. By 11 00 a. M. You see a wave of clouds rolling south to north. That is part of the tropical moisture im talking with into friday morning. Another wave if it comes our way. The ability is there, but i dont think we are likely going to see any thunderstorm action from that. Tonight for the cloudy skies, we will ha get a lot of sunshine. That means temperatures are going up, concord looking over 99 degrees tomorrow, 71 in San Francisco and even at the coast because we get the clouds cleared out 70 degrees and pacifica. Then we get to friday and we are under an excessive heat watch for all areas in red. Essentially it is the east bay, south bay, peninsula and north bay are not in that. Nothing around the water in the bay. But if you move inland at all it is friday through sunday we are expecting very warm temperatures. Just to give you an idea here, lets take a look at concord where we are looking at 104 on friday and saturday. If we go around the bay here we are talking mid80s for oakland. That is getting up there for oakland as well. Even the coast, where we have had so much cloud cover recently , we are talking 76 and 77 degrees for pacifica. To say it is going to be a warm one, well its going to be warm. And its friday and these are the friday temperatures. Triple digits in concord, antioch, livermore, walnut creek and gilbert. But also it has some staying power. You look at the five day forecast and you can see it is right through the weekend. Frankly we come back into the upper 90s, but that is monday and tuesday and wednesday we are staying there as well. This will be a little bit dangerous, this run of heat. Coming up next in sports, ramon lorianna is appealing his suspension and is allowed to play.
