The giants just happened to be playing in boston last year in inner league play and thats the town and the team, the red sox on which mikes grandfather carl forged a hall of fame career and the red sox did a heart worming thing. It was a three game series between the giants and red sox and got a huge ovation in boston. Obviously hes trying to make this team. But no matter what year, hes got a lifetime memory because of what happened last season at fenway park. You always dream of playing catch with a family on a big league field and to have both organizations and allow that to happen was very special and obviously ill go on record any time saying thank you to both of them for letting that happen. So, another interesting thing about that. It was the three game series. The giants took two out of three. Both the red sox and giants dating back to new york. That was the first time a giants franchise had ever won a game at fenway park. That was kind of interesting they took two out of three on a highlight from last season. Were going to show you the field here in scottsdale because they are going to have a work out today for the guys who are not going over to glendale to play the dodgers. Temperatures well up above the average. We have been talking about records over the past couple of weeks it seems like off and on. As far as yesterday, temperatures very warm today. Not much change. There will be change tomorrow. In fact, by the weekend, that cool down will be linked with this. Some shower chances here and as you can see were taking this right on through the weekend. Not a major amount of rainfall but if we just get a few drops that is still a significant change compared to the weather pattern weve been dealing with over the past few weeks. We have some low clouds and fog offshore. And some of this low cloud cover will be back into this evening and tomorrow morning. Especially coast side and right around the bay. Current numbers it is still warm. Lots of 60s and 70s. San jose 72. Oakland 65. San francisco downtown. In the upper 60s and santa rosa reporting 72 degrees. Forecast headlines for today sunny and warm. For tomorrow, fog returns. We will begin to cool things off for tomorrow. And the weekend definitely cooling things off and we could be talking about some shower chances not for the entire weekend. This area High Pressure still in charge of our weather pattern. So today, the last warm day and then this system is approaching our coastline. So no rain drops for tomorrow. No rain drops for friday. But, by saturday, this could be close enough we could be dodging a few showers. So, here we are today. Mostly clear skies.
