The patient is a woman from Solano County and she contracted the virus in her own community. The cdc is in the process of trying to trace this patients steps, where she made contact with. And where she was when she was contagious. A person appears to be infected through this community transition. The patient did not leave the country. She did not knowingly make contact with someone else who was sick. Health Officials Say she checked herself into the north bay Vaca Valley Hospital on february 15th with flu like symptoms when her condition got worse, she was moved to Uc Davis Medical Center in sacramento. She was not tested for the covid19 coronavirus for days. State and federal officials agree that a wider criteria for testing is needed. But its tough because the symptoms are so common. Similar to a cold or flu. And test kits are not being mass produced at if this time. We know that the cats out of the bag in terms of having it spread. What we are trying to do is slow the spread. We are going to keep it over there. We have to prepare for what we have to do to present ourselves when it is here. Custodians are wiping down door handles and desks. Now officials are not telling us what city this woman lives this or where she works or her name for privacy reasons. Reporter officials at uc davis confirmed the cdc is testing one of their students who they say is currently showing symptoms of the coronavirus. That student is currently being isolated at home. One student is off site. Be reporter hernandez is a freshmen who says he is friends with the three students in isolation. Ingly just found out a little earlier because i knew the people that were infected. I live on the second floor, and the area is third floor. Reporter school Officials Say the other two students are roommates with the other student being tested. Those students are currently not showing signs of the virus and are isolated in another building on campus. The rest of the udents are safe, not exposed to coronavirus. Three other College Students in the sacramento area have been told to stay at home and monitor their own health after being exposed to a coronavirus patient. One student is enrolled at American River college. And one at returned their reseptember spective schools after the exposure. And no immediate action needs to be taken. We have a slow growth economy. If the economy was trending at 57, we could be hurting. We have very low inflation. When inflation is very high, that could flow us into a recession. Unemployment, extremely low. When people start to get laid off, there is a sign there is a recession. We see none of those signs for 2020. Plus its an election year. That that has something to do with it. For people at home, we bring up the 401k. I dont plan to retire any time soon so i will not look at it. Lets say someone is at home and plan it is to retire in six months d they need to pull this out now . If you have a 401k plan and all of us here do, there is a Silver Lining in this disaster that is happening right now. Now fast forward to 2020, market is going down, money is coming out of your paycheck. When you are working in a business, you are actually buying stock at a lower price right now. If you are getting ready to retire, you want to be much more conservative in your asset allocation. You talk about the market rising. Let me ask you this. Because weve had that momentum over the last year or so. Even before that. With the stocks going up. Is what we saw over the last week have we didnt have that big wise. 2019 was euphoric. You saw your portfolio rise. So because a lot of people didnt make the corrections, they kept thinking the market was going to keep trending up, they should have took some off the top into cash, move their Growth Stocks to value stocks.
