A National Association of federal judges is meeting today to discuss growing concerns about the Justice Department and President Trump. There are now more than 2,000 former Justice Department officials calling for attorney general william barr to resign after the Justice Department eefrld the sentencing recommendation for roger stone. Barr and other supporters of the president say mr. Trump should not get involved in cases, but not everyone agrees. Barrs decision to intervene with this extreme sentence recommendation was appropriate. Does the president have a right to tweet about a case, of course. The other thing that happened in this crash in the last 15 minutes there you see the aerial view. There was another crash in the backup of it. This is at gillman. This is going to be a veryehop they can maybe uple and have me third day of searching for 77 yearold carol caparski and her this is going to be a scaled back search. Yesterday, were told there were more than 130 volunteers and theyre refocusing their search today on the rental cabin they were staying in. That is the area where they had been searching since sunday. But yesterday they went to a 2 to 3 mile radius and there was no sign of them. So, at this point, theyre thinking maybe this couple went for a hike and got lost. And these were people that werent going to seek out difficult terrain. Theyre in their 70s. They werent going to go a long way. So theres a lot of other possibilities and investigations pursuing that with detectives. When the couple didnt check out saturday and their belongings were still there, that raised some red flags and their last text to family members was on friday confirming plans for sunday that they missed. So, like yesterdays, todays search will involve crews on the ground and in the air. Family members are staying nearby and more relatives are expected to fly in today from out of state. But, again, a very scaled back search right near that rental home. Were going to have an update for you when that search begins. It is expected to start at 8 00 this morning. Along the Union Pacific train tracks near coliseum way and firefighters ran into an obstacle when they first arrived.
