Sonoma county is called to the contractor to remove that waste at no cost to Property Owners. It may take three weeks to finish it. Her name was misty smith walton. Mistys friends suspect she and her husband were shot trying to stop a car breakin. Friends mourn the loss of misty smith walton. A memorial marks the spot where she was shot. Shes intelligent, shes smart if she dont know about something she will find out. Misty and her husband heard the alarm go off in his car just outside their apartment complex. They were shot multiple times. They were 10 rounds from one gun and it sounded like a separate gun from a different caliber fired some rounds as well. This neighbor asked not to identify her. She said she and others came out of they are homes and found misty on the ground. Everybody was just in shock. It was a very numb feeling. Misty who was 5 months pregnant died at the scene. Her husband was wounded but is suspected to survive. I called her misty pick up the phone. Pick up the phone. Shes gone. Its real. I know a lot of women kind of drag their feet because the mammogram is uncomfortable. Do you think this would replace that . Pam, dave, this would be revolutionary. If we could have a blood test to detect not only Breast Cancer but maybe even pancreatic cancer it would be livechanging. Many of my parents dont want to get mammograms. I have to persuade them. Sometimes they pregnant about it. This would be amazing and as you mentioned, pam, its Cost Effective and very easy to do. Just a blood test. Can you imagine. Much nicer, yes. Do you think this will be readily available certainly get more people tested men and women . Well right now its in development and i think in about 4 or 5 years and im not promising that but it may be ready to bring to market and let me tell you, not only for folks that i see in my practice, but think about it in third world countries where they dont have access to mammograms, this could save many thousands of lives. Remember Breast Cancer is the number one cancer affecting women on the planet. If we can find an easy way to detect it early we will undoubtedly save lives. Many people dont know that men can also get Breast Cancer and many celebrities including the father of beonce has developed Breast Cancer. It looks at antibodies that the body develops when you have a cancer. Remember cancer is kind of a foreign invader and the bodys immune system responds to that. If we have a blood test that can react to that blood interbody activity we can direct. Ive been in practice 27 years and i have seen protest cancer in men and the hurdle to overcome is sometimes i have to send men for mammograms. Thats kind of an interesting little discussion but that saves lives and i want to make one thing clear for now women must do breast exams. They have to have breast exams and get their mammograms until this comes down the road. But put your seat belts on its coming. Thats really exciting news and i want to just go back to something that i mentioned that something a lot of people maybe didnt think about is the actual screening machines are very expensive and so i would think doctors, hospitals, and Insurance Companies would be on board to support this because it certainly makes things affordable for everybody. Well its Cost Effective and what they need to do is improve what they call the sensitivity and specificity. That means how accurate it is. Thats what theyre working on right now. But about 20 years ago i went to kiev to set up a mammography machine over there and let me tell you if it were a blood test it would be amazing and pancreatic cancer wouldnt be it amazing to detect it early where we can prevent mastectomies.
