We are live in crockett to bring you the latest. Reporter the contra costa t supervisor john gioia raised concerns about how these employees handled the emergency. They told me First Responders arrived at the Nustar Energy facility, firefighters on the front gate lock. When they finally entered, the place was deserted. The employees there to tell what was happening or what was burning. When fire personnel to track down employee, the person was not able to tell them it what was inside the burning tank. This is still under investigation but it does raise concerns about how prepared the facility was. A stretch of highway 29 had to be shut down because of those flames. In Santa Barbara county, it wildfire is forcing the evacuation of el capitan state beach. The fire has so far burned 443 acres, containment is at 20 . Reservations for the beach camp grounds are canceled until further notice. Highway 101 had to be shut down but the flames are being driven by 4050 Miles Per Hour winds. The California Public Utilities Commission is holding an emergency meeting to examine pg es shut off this month. The utility came under heavy criticism about cutting power to 700,000 customers. The city is extorting other ways to take over the distribution of electrical power. That is already the deadline for hundreds of staffers from the district attorney, sheriff and Public Defenders Office to move as well. Where the inmates will go remains unclear. The city is exploring a number of options including out of county facilities. A new city from caltech warrants a major fault line capable of a magnitude 8 earthquake has started moving for the first time in recorded history.
