Now when the fire got out here, the fire spread to the neighboring store next door and the mini mart, a liquor store. They were told not to go into the adult store because of an armed man, a man armed with a sledgehammer was inside. And so since the fire spread to the business next door, they began fighting that fire at some point and they made waves into the adult mini store. The super store next door and that is where they eventually found the deceased person inside and they have not yet said whether it is a male or a female and here is what they said just a short time ago. And we did after the fire was under control, we found a body in the basement. We dont know if that is the person who was making the threats or not. And still a lot of unanswered questions, about who this person was in the store and what their connection is to the business, they own the business and perhaps an owner who is being evicted from the adult video store. But again, those reports, they are unconfirmed at this point. Someone was found inside the store and believed that perp was armed with a sledgehammer. New details tonight about the boat crash on the delta that left one woman dead and five other people injured. And family members tell us she was a wonderful young woman who just graduated college, starting a career in the beauty industry. Now Close Friends describe her as a bright and light hearted soul who had a lot of friends and made new friends wherever she went. The crash happened last night east of Discovery Bay near the beach. On saturday, two boats collided near ski beach. We dont know how tease two boats collided in the water. We dont know who hit who. The second boat left the scene and called in the accident. Its unknown how many victims were on the second boat, but they believe they received medical treatment. News of the crash will serve as a reminder to the boaters to be vigilant. Especially when we heard it was over and that has a reputation of being the party place and so the first thing was alcohol involved . San joaquin county, leigh martinez, ktvu fox 2news. A man using a walker was critically injured when he fell onto the tracks of the barboa belt station. A train was stopped when the man fell and became wedged between the platform and the train. San francisco firefighters, they responded to the scene and pulled that man to safety. The station was shut down for about 45 minutes. Firefighters, they say the man injured his legs and was taken to a Trauma Center in critical condition. His name still hasnt been released. The chp said the man bypassed a road closure this morning leading to the high speed chase that ultimately shut down highway 101 near geyserville. The chain of events began around 6 30 this morning when officers say 56yearold Eric Vangelder drove around the road closure on the southbound lanes and then took off. The chase ended when he drove over a spike strip that officers had placed near windsor. They then deployed gas and a stun grenade after saying he refused to surrender, facing charges of evading police, du, resisting arrest. The standoff led to major backups on 101 in both directions and the highway was finally reopened about three hours later at 9 30 this morning. And the debate over whether the Supreme Court Justice Brett kavanaugh should remain on the high court was reignited last night with a new report from the new york times. And the report offers new details on the claims that kavanaugh would expose himself to the festudent while he was a student at yale.
