Police say the three suspects used rope to tie up the victim and assaulted him several times. The three suspects are hispanic, the alleged victim is africanamerican. Police say more racist graffiti has been found at diablo valley before the start school year. Authorities say the racist message was found in a campus bathroom on the Pleasant Hill campus earlier this week. This discovery follows several to miller cases last fiscal year. Henry lee tells us that deputies in San Francisco and san mateo counties base separate lawsuits over their alleged use of force. Reporter the severn cisco sheriff operates this jail in san bruno. Its home to the five keys a Charter School were inmates get access to education. In april, an inmate said the deputy became enraged after he refused to go to his cell and instead asked for a grievance form. He slammed him on the ground and hit him multiple times in h and putting him in a choke hold. The attorney filed a civil rights lawsuit on friday. There is no justification for any deputy using Excessive Force on any inmate, whether the inmate is not being totally cooperative. Deputy jason is now serving in and administrative role and does not have contact with inmates. And in a separate case, San Mateo County was sued thursday by a man who says that he was viciously beat at the county jail in redwood city after the inmate repeatedly asked to make a phone call. Michael saville is his attorney. He was attacked from behind, taken down to the ground, his head was slammed into a closed elevator door. Investigator said two other inmates were attacked by the same deputy in august of last year. The deputy is awaiting trial on three misdemeanor counts of assault. The deputys unpaid leave and has been with the Sheriffs Office for six years and previously worked as a Daly City Police officer. His Attorney Says inmates are some of the most Vulnerable People in the community. They are incarcerated and much of their rights are stripped of them, sometimes unjustly. And they are at the hand of the deputies and officers. San francisco declined to comment on the lawsuit and i have not heard back from San Mateo County officials. A federal judge who ruled in march that San Franciscos cash bail system says changes in the city are not coming fast enough. Today a judge attacked local judges and political leaders for failing to agree on a new bell system during the past five months. And the judge is threatening to simply prohibit a bail after interest which could keep those arrested behind bars for days before appearing in court. The judge says that will push them to revamp the system. The president issued an executive order back in 2017, he threatened to strip billions of dollars in federal funding from communities that detect undocumented immigrants from ice race. The u. S. District recorded an injection later that year saying the president could not set new conditions of congressional spending. Today the court issued a final ruling creating protections for the sanctuary counties. The Supreme Court revealed today that Ruth Bader Ginsburg has completed radiation treatment for a malignant tumor on her pancreas. It began earlier this month and no additional treatment is planned.
