Give yourself plenty of extra time in that area. When you get to the bay bridge, driving westbound, traffic is moving along okay. Its a 20minute delay at the toll plaza. No problems here on oaklands freeway, 880 north and south in front. Eastbound 580 oakland , there is a crash eastbound 580 involving a truck that was a camper pulling a trailer and all the eastbound lanes are closed. Traffic is backed up from highway 13. Westbound traffic is okay. Highway 4 might be heavier today. Marsh creek road is closed between deer valley and Morgan Territory road for most people its closed. Police in dayton, ohio, still searching for a motive after a gunman began shooting in a crowded and Entertainment District killing nine people including the gunmans sister and 27 others were hurt. That gunman followed a large crowd that headed in to a ba and police shot the gunman just as he walked through a doorway and the gunman died on the scene. If you are driving berkley trying to get to san rafael, you can use the ramp but its busy and its going to be causing a traffic jam. Some people have gotten off of the freeway and stayed on the freeway gone up to central. You can see how slow that is. There is a crash somewhere in that mix. There was a crash here at gillmon thats been removed. Traffic okay at the bay bridge toll plaza, 880 is looking good both directions. Eastbound 580, a crash near edwards, blocking several lanes, westbound traffic is getting through. Letting riders know about this change that started today. As if people have questions, there are groups to help them, there are a lot of clipper officials you can see anyone can and them questions. You can you use paper tigs at this bart station and add money to them but cant buy them here. Your only fare option for purchase is a clipper card. 84 of riders already use clipper cards. Bart is hoping to have other riders move in the same direction. In january of 2018, bart started a 0. 50 surcharge per trip. If you are buying a paper ticket, you are paying an extra 1 round trip. The clipper card has a 1 time 3 fee and discounts to youth and seniors. Buy with a credit card or cash and dont have to register so you can stay anonymous. There are a lot of reasons the Transit Agency decided to make this change. Clipper has been prioritized as the all in one transit card for the area. We want to move forward towards those lines, environmental in terms of less paper waste at our station and also just efficiency wise, the paper tickets can jam the fare gates.
