People across the country are stunned and saddened after two Mass Shootings this weekend, one week after three people were killed at the gilroy garlic festival. The three shootings killed a total of 32 people. National data base describes it shooters are killed all of the violences stirring up debate every gun control. President trump plans to speak three hours from now on what can be done about the violence. In el paso, texas hundreds of people from both sides of the border prayed together last night. Religious leaders from texas and mexico shared the pulpit at the hope border institutes prayer vigil and asked for peace and strength. Investigators say the gunman is quote speaking freely to them about the shooting in and around the walmart on saturday where there were thousands of back to school shoppers. Federal and state officials in texas plan to pursue charges of domic terrorism, federal firearms violations and capital murder. Police in dayton, ohio are searching for a motive after a 24yearold man began shooting in to a crowded entertainment district. 9 people including the gunmans sister died in that shooting. 27 people were injured. Officials say police were on duty in the area. In less than one minute, in less than one minute, dayton First Responders neutralizeed the shooter. The gunman followed a large crowd that headed in to a bar and police shot him just as he entered the doorway. He died on the scene. Investigators say he was wearing body armor and hearing protection. He had 100 rounds of ammunition with him. They have not come up with a motive for that shooting. People in san jose came together to celebrate the life of one of the shooting victims this the weekend. Sunday would have been keyla salazars 14th birthday. Reporter a song in honor of keyla salazar, it was supposed to be her 14th Birthday Party in san jose. A maria chief contrabands balloons. She was excited to start high school. They dont shock me anymore. Im fighting to not be numb to it. The horrible thing is that this behavior is becoming normalized. We had more than 200 since january 1st. The mayor vowing to tighten sales of firearms locally, pointing to a lack of leadership from the federal government to view gun control as a priority. We are going to push as hard as we can at the city of san jose as far as the law will allow us. We need others pushing with us in sacramento and washington. I think there is no reason for civilians to have assault weapons. Reporter she is tired of saying not again instead would like to say never again. We cant afford to lose all of these precious young people and others and there is violence upon violence. We need to ton our country around and get it back to what it should be. We are expecting an update from call fire at 7 00 this morning. 45 people took part in the first of three wild fire emergency drills in berkley. Officials using the chance to test their evacuation plans as well as making sure people are prepared for wild fires. First responders drove in to berkley southeast hills during the drill to alert people of the wild fire threat. People who signed up to participate in the drill received a text message alerting them to a wild fire in the area and giving them directions on where to go. He tossed the boy from the viewing platform to the 5th floor roof on sunday. We tried to get in to the exhibit but there for four people blocking the entrance saying they were allowing anyone else to come in for the day. They said there was an emergency or incident that took place and people were leaving. The 6 year old was flown to a nearby hospital where he receives treatment this morning. Police say there is nothing to suggest that the suspect knows the little boy. A group of uc and call state students are suing the School System for damaging their reputations due to charges oh Sexual Harassment. The Los Angeles Times report as uc graduate is among those filing the lawsuit. He went on a few dates with another student and was shocked when she accused him of stalking and Sexual Harassment. The school suspended him for two years this june 2017 and he never faced criminal charges. His attorney say uc and call state students have been wrongfully punished by a flawed disciplinary system.
