Police found out gun play was involved. Fairfield police come over the scene of three mangled vehicles where gunshots raining out at 3 20 saturday afternoon. They determined that the driver of a silver honda accord had suffered from gunshot wounds. As a result of those injuries he caused the collision with the other two vehicles. Police say the two vehicles traveling on waterman when someone opened fire on the silver honda before he lost control. The driver of the honda suffered lifethreatening injuries. There were a total of 8 people injured, one being the male with gunshot wounds, the other 7 received minor injuries or transported to local hospitals. The suspect vehicle was not on the scene. One local resident who didnt want to be identified said the shooting in broad daylight made her nervous. Theres a shooting almost like on a weekly if not on daily basis now unfortunately.
