The Union Representing the wide range of workers says that they only want a oneYear Contract with a 4 increase. We want to get back to work and provide the services that we do tokeland. Reporter the mayor says that there offering the 4 increase for the first year with the possibility 2 increase for the second year depending on revenues. And they propose at an additional . 90. We cannot make financial this and we cannot make Financial Decisions today that we cannot afford the longterm. Reporter other issues are mandatory overtime and mandatory shortage and they should bring in the informal mediator. Just bring that person in and the city said no. It has destroyed at least 30 homes, and it has injured two firefighters. The containment remains at 0 . And it has force evacuation for 100,000 people, many live in the Lake View Terrace area.
