Congress is also reacting to a series of allegations of Sexual Misconduct against lawmakers. The house is scheduled to vote on mandatory anti Sexual Harassment training for all house members and their staffs. It would require lawmakers, their staff and interns to complete a Training Program on workplace rights and responsibility. It could include anti discrimination and anti harassment training. The senate by the way adopted a similar resolution earlier this month. No during a hearing in Sacramento State lawmakers heard from many women who say they were the victims of Sexual Harassment and assault at the state capitol. The assembly heard the first of several planned hearings on harassment. Some of the them who testified say there are hundreds of women who are afraid to speak out for fear of losing their jobs. Its not far from the el dorado casino. Witnesses say they heard at least 20 minutes of gun shots that building but nobody was hurt. Reno police say the unidentified man died after a swat team went to the 8th floor of the condo building. We dont know if the gunman was killed by police or by his own gun. Police say that he was holding the woman hostage and was firing down to the street but neither the hostage or anyone else was hurt. The shooting was rereminder. Las Vegas Shooting where 58 people were killed. During last nights shooting the streets were mainly empty. It was a cold week night. Documents showing the las Vegas Shooting gunman owned a condo there. He sold it last year but it may just be a condense. Investigators say that a man with a shot gun walked onto the campus of brookson before 4 00 p. M. He opened fire at two surveillance cameras. Nobody was hurt but this is the second time this month that someone has shot at security cameras at that school but not during the school day. Police arent releasing other information about the suspect. Classes will be held again today. Last night the Oakland City Council paid tribute to the 36 people who died in the ghost ship warehouse fire. The worst fire in oaklands history. The ghost ship fire was one of the citys most devastating and left many families and communities with loss. The councilman and other city leaders took part in this brief ceremony during the meeting. At last nights City Council Meeting the chief brought a let fresh the United States attorney describing the warrant as part of a criminal investigation not a civil immigration investigation. One man was released and the other now faces deportation for being in this country illegally. Officials say both men were possible victims of Human Trafficking. Closing arguments continue in the trial of a man accused in one of the deadliest attacks in San Francisco. They say that he had a gambling problem and that he murdered the family in order to steal money from their home to clear i had debt. The San Francisco board of supervisors voted last night to overturn the controversial sale of a private street in the citys prisidio heights neighborhood. Business owners in chinatown are about to get half a Million Dollars from the city to recoup losses from the work on the subway. Many say that is not enough. Work extends from chinatown through union square and south of market. And muni trains are expected to be on the new tracks by december of next year. But because of delays, now it is scheduled to open sometime in the year 2019. That has cut off foot traffic to many businesses, some of which had to shut down. According to the San Francisco examiner, the chair of the Chinatown Neighborhood Association wants mayor ed lee to provide more than the 450,000 he is pledging. He says the area affected is bigger than the city realizes. Well, small cracks in parts of a newly rebuilt concrete spillway at the oroville dam are not a safety problem according to officials. They say the hairline cracks are caused by Design Elements and they were expected. They say the cracks do not need to be repaired but will be closely watched. As we reported back in february, authorities ordered the evacuation of almost 200,000 people downstream of the dam when both spillways started crumbling. This is a video of a bobcat that he was able to track. This is after nine of his chickens were killed in one month. They had to let the bobcat go because trapping them is illegal. The school right next door also has chickens on their property. They lost two of them in the last month. During a school day, just like this with kids and everything, a bobcat came and killed a chicken right there at the pe building. The california fish and Wildlife Department says the neighbors out there can apply for a special permit for nuisance bobcats.
