We dont know if he was trying to sell a cell phone or something else. We dont know if this was from craigslist. The 32yearold victim was meeting a stranger that he met online. They came to this gas station at this busy intersection to exchange the money and the goods. The sheriffs investigator believe that gunmen may have been with another person. Were waiting to confirm that. Heat deaths they may have tried to steal what he was selling. He was shot and killed. It was a robbery gone wrong. We remind people to be extremely careful when meeting strangers to sell items. The suspicious of meeting people who are not verified or vetted in locations that you dont really know. He was part of a strike team helping with the napa fire recovery. Friday morning nine people were held up by three suspects near prescott elementary school. A gun was involved. At about 10 pm friday night a man was robbed on brand street. A gun was also used in that crime. Early saturday morning a woman was held up at the new highland academy. Those robbers made out with money and personal items. They are not saying if those robberies are connected. We are learning more about yesterdays Apartment Fire in san jose. Three members of the same family were killed. Two were brother and sister. Their father and mother were taken to the hospital. The mother has passed away and the father is in critical condition. Their names have not been released. A neighbor called 911 to report flames just before 5 am. Firefighters say they found the back apartment full of heavy smoke. It turned into a three alarm fire. They went into rescue mode. One company was able to remove one person from the backside of the structure. The others were taken from the balcony. Firefighters say the fire was contained to the upstairs apartment. They got it under control in about 45 minutes. The property in that Property Owner says these people had been tenants for several years. Some survivors of the north they fires are facing a deadline. People have until wednesday to have debris moved from their land. Those city those people have to turn in their request to the city.
