They formed a huge chain that stretched around this large campus near down berkeley and organized by latino students invited student body. They are protesting the decision by President Trump to end the deferred action for Childhood Arrival Program started under the obama administration. It protects young undocumented immigrants brought to this country as children. What we are doing today is forming a human chain with the 800,000 dreamers affected by President Trump decision. I feel proud of them. I saw our students, their hope was to gather in hope and unity and as i saw kids of all different ages and friendship groups, races, gather around Holding Hands around the school and it was unifying and that was the goal.
