And we made an effort to get in there and do procedures versus just talk about them. We have great guests, graphics, and animations. I have said what makes you and the other hosts of the show, so good at what you do, is, you can take something that takes decades of knowledge to understand, and then explain it to those of us without the decades of knowledge. And we have made an effort to give, not just interesting information, but usable information. Things that moms can watch the show today, and talk about what color of snot is contagious. Right . So you can know that your kid as allergies , and send them to school prepandemic of course. And all of the things that go along with it, its usable information, and i am proud of that. The idea for the doctors, created it itself. There was nothing more important than your health. We have a lot to learn about making television. 5 minutes, guys. 5 minutes. Hello and welcome to the doctors this is our premiere show. But with our combined medical knowledge, we knew we had a winning combination. If we actually went through every tissue in the body. This is like having done 5 tummy tucks. This is a healthy set of lungs. This is someone who has smoked their whole life. We learned quickly to expect the unexpected. Whoo, whoo this is really cold [ laughter ] and, are you comfortable . No [ laughter ] ahhhh [ applause ] oh, may god. The more you exercise without eating, the more fat you burn. Okay. Plain and simple. I would advise, no one to eat before they work out. All right. All right. Cool. Wake up in the morning, go straight to the gym. We have to stop, you cant be giving this advice. You are not really a doctor. What are you talking about . No, no, someone else has to answer this question . Whatttt . This right here. What . But i got the question a number of times, why make a change at this point, 13 seasons in. The truth is, every Television Show evolves and makes changes. We were slower to do it than most. The all rights the letters i am receiving are glowing. I am excited we are still doing it, i want to give a shoutout to our former cohosts and hosts; we are all a big family. We have a number of hosts still dr. Ordon, it wouldnt be a 2000th show, everyone loves dr. Ordon. Drew, why dont you join us . Thank you very much, i had to ask my daughter what the ogdoctor was, but now i get it. You know, guys, congratulations to the two of you; what a run. Again, you alluded to it. Watching all of that taped nootage, oh, my good footage. Oh, my goodness, what a ride we have had. And at the same time, jay, its been a lot of hard work; not easy to create 2000 shows. Not easy. I am tickled to death. Another mcgraw, what could i say . Jay i gotta tell you few can say they watched their family grow up on tv. Thats true. How does it feel looking back on that . Watching it was fun, i forgot some of those moments because you were wrapped up in doing it, its a living photoalbum. Those babies are grown up now. I want to catch up with the triplets and the kids. Take a look. Since the first time we were on the doctors, its been a decade, can you believe that . No, i cant believe that. Were all pregnant . The girls are now 10. And then we all had boys. The coolest part, too, about starting being pregnant together, having our daughters together, is that, the phases of life, they never stop. Last week i was upon like, how are you doing with the homeschooling. a and they could relate, being on the same page. All of the cousins are not just cousins, they all have extremely close unique different relationships with each other. Its almost like they have builtin, 5 brothers and sisters, and we are fortunate and lucky that we have that. I cant believe its been 2000 episodes of the doctors, already. I cant, either. But it feels like yesterday we were on the show revealing we were having girls. Congratulations on 2000 episodes mwha gotta love it, gotta love it. Stage 29 is a family business. And we even have a special message for jay from his dad, doctor phil and his mom, robin. Jay, congratulations. This is your baby from the minute one. I remember back in 2007, when you were over at our house, came in through the kitchen and said [ snaps ] i have a great idea for a tv show. One year later in 2008, you launched that baby and mere we are, here we are 2000 episodes later. I shouldnt be surprised you have been involved in 10 different Television Shows in prime time syndication, streaming, and won two emmies along the way. Thousands of television episodes. I was 35 years old and i realized i needed to start doing the checkups. And i am glad i did. I found a peasized lump, and it grew several rapidly. Three days later i was toldis had breakfast cancer. Told i had breast cancer. The doctor said if it had metastasized, i could have died. The doctors literally saved my life. I was 19 years old after joining the army. 78 months, it was bad. I got myself back, i got my life back. So rewarding to see how helpful the show has been. I know we also helped you with your back issues. How is your physical health now . Going great, i have been working out. Too many cookies, though, but outside of that i am physically fit and doing the things i have always loved to do. So, yeah, its been great, no pain. Debra, we are so glad you came back, you look great, and sound great; your energy is great. We are happy its working out. And keep having fun, huh . All right, thank you very much. Will do, thank you guys. We will talk to you again. Talk to you again, bye. Drew, explain this for me, it seems too good to be true. She was dealing with severe ptsd and now a shot makes it go away, how does it work . In a nutshell, what happens to people and ptsd, they are constantly in a fight or flight response controlled by the sympathetic infrastructure system, and by blocking that parts of the nervous system in the neck, doing a socalled stellate ganglion block, and, um, uniformly, the results have been very, very good.
