Thank you so much for joining us here on kron 4 news at 3 im Justine Waldman Speaker Pelosi made that comment today during a news briefing make it clear she is planning to talk about the 25th amendment tomorrow that outlines president ial transfer of power procedures. Catherine heenan the host of inside bay area politics is here with this warning from the speaker. Good afternoon catherine yeah, i new on all of this and were one less than a month away from the election. Nancy pelosi have been talking to reporters about covid19 as she was beginning to wrap Weekly News Conference she suddenly said this. What are we talking about here. Tomorrow by the way. Tomorrow. Ill talk about that tomorrow. Attachment to monitoring that today except to tell you. If you want to bet that well see you tomorrow but to take me back to my point. Mister president. When was the last time you had a negative test. Before you tested positive. Why is the white house not telling. The country. I also refusing to elaborate just them but in an interview shortly afterwards she suggested the president might be and what she called and altered state because of the drugs the medicine hes taking to treat covid19. She added there are those who say when youre on steroids or have covid19 there may be some impairment of judgment and now shes introducing a bill to establish a commission on president ial capacity and the president responded this afternoon tweeting that pelosi is the one who should be under observation of course its one thing to talk about a constitutional measure to remove the president from office its another to actually do it, pelosi would have to convince Senate Republicans to go along with this and the Vice President would have to sign off on all of that considered highly unlikely at least at this point just well be watching that tomorrow.
