Modesto police say theyve locate add person of interest in located a person of interest in connection with a homicide where five people were found dead inside a home, three of them children. This morning an upgrade from last night. It is now 45 contained. So far 23 buildings, including seven homes and more than 40 cars have been destroyed. Take a look at that video right there. Many of those cars destroyed happened when the fire jumped interstate 15 on friday afternoon forcing people to flee their cars, leave them on the freeway. And we spoke with a bay area firefighter about what you should do if you are ever caught in a similar situation. We usually like to see the main fire move past prior to somebody getting out of their vehicle. But if you do, get out of your vehicle, stay low and use objects as heat shields to block the heat from yourself. We have resources in place to try and attack fire and prevent it from happening but theres always that unfortunate situation where the fire exceeds the capabilities of the Fire Department. The chief also says if youre ever in your car when a fire is approaching, you should cover the air vents to prevent smoke from getting into your car. And high winds were not the biggest problem for firefighters battling this blaze. At least five drones in the area forced fire crews to stop their operations. But points south of san jose, even maybe the peninsula, we are looking at these showers generally moving up to the north. So futurecast for us showing whats going to probably happen and a decent job here. You can see more showers lining up for tahoe by 1 00 p. M. Still dry for the bay area. May see some high clouds filtering in. And then by 3 00 p. M. Maybe some showers generally in the south bay and also monterey once again. A man is dead after being shot at an apartment complex in east palo alto. This happened just after 10 00 last night. Police were called to the light tree apartments on east bay shore road. Several people called 911 saying that they heard multiple gunshots. Police found a 27yard man 27yearold man who had been shot. He later died at the hospital. New drivers licenses arent just for 16yearolds anymore. According to the department of motor vehicles, half of all new licenses issued so far this year in california went to undocumented immigrants. Craig reporter the dmv offices are closed but anyone who had to come to a dmv in either january or february, you probably remember those long lines. Some dmv offices even extended their hours in order to accommodate all the people who would be able to get a license under ab60. Now we have the numbers. It turns out during the First Six Months of this program, just under 400,000 licenses were issued to undocumented californians. Thats more than half of the total number of licenses that were given out during that time. Governor brown signed ab60 into law with the purpose of giving those undocumented californians an opportunity to get a license and drive in the country legally. Those licenses are marked differently. They cant be used for federal identification. For example, they wont help you get on to a plane. Of course opponents of this program criticize it saying its simply making it easier for people to live here illegally. But this is the biggest number that stood out to me. Of all the people who qualify under this new program, more than a Million People took the written test during the last six months. Reporting in daly city, kron 4 news. In national news, a Heated Exchange between the ku klux klan and several other groups would rallied on the state house grounds in column yarks South Carolina. Columbia, South Carolina. The rally started out peaceful but once the kkk arrived, tensions began to rise. Reporter fighting, flames and a heavy Law Enforcement presence on the state house grounds. As thousands of people gathered to witness the ku klux klan rally against the states decision to remove the Confederate Flag. We will delete your history in america. Reporter but what started as a peaceful protest quickly escalated. As tension it is protesters and counterprotesters grew. At one point people in the crowd were ripping up a Confederate Flag. While others engaged in intense debate with ultimate which ultimately led to at least five arrests. They threw a rock and then ran. Reporter Law Enforcement responded to each situation quickly stopping the violence and escorted the kkk off the state house grounds an hour early. The Confederate Flag was removed from the front of the South Carolina state house following the shooting death of nine africanamericans at a church in charleston. I was just checking Half Moon Bay and boy, its warming up quickly out there. By lunch time well see 80s and 70s and our temperatures will peak at around 3 00 p. M. Low 90s for our inland spots. This is the system were watching. Creeping up a little farther north but its very slow to move. And temperatures now, look at these numbers. 77 already in fairfield. But then upper 60s in antioch. 70s in livermore. San jose 68. 72 now Half Moon Bay. Already went up another 2 degrees. 65 in San Francisco and low 70s in novato. Dew points are in the 50s so temperatures along with the higher dew points should get into the 60s this afternoon. It is going to be feel muggy. Petty officer Randall Smiths name is added to this makeshift memorial outside the Chattanooga Recruiting Office where a deadly shooting spree began on thursday. We just really [ inaudible ] reporter he was the fifth Service Member to die at the hands of 24yearold gunman mohammod youssef abdulazees. Investigators are still trying to find a motive. The shooters recent trip to the middle east raising concerns of a connection to terror groups. Isis and other terror organizations have long called for a tax on military locations like these according to analysts. The American Military is the most high valued target for isis. Going after as i say military targets in the u. S. Homeland, they want nothing more than that. Reporter critics like Sergeant Lunsford injured in the 2009 fort hood shooting say military sites like these are easy targets because Service Members here arent armed. We have to be allowed to fight with both our hands and not with one behind our backs so our military personnel, we have the training and restraint to use these weapons. We use them in a theater war. Its obvious that the war is now on our home soil. According to the transcripts, cosby admits to having sexual relationships with at least five women and paying one of them to hide the affair from his wife. Those relationships he says were all consensual. The deposition stems from a civil lawsuit filed by andrea constrand, one of the dozens of women who have publicly accused the comedian of sexual assault. In all more than 25 women have come forward saying cosby gave them some sort of drug without their knowledge.
