This evening we are getting a firsthand look at some of those homes that have turned to rubble. I am told that our total as of this hour is up to about 37, just over 37,000 that we have raised in just a few hours during the day today. We are going to keep going until 11 30 tonight but we are happy to announce that we received a pretty big donation coming from clorox who are donating a matching donation up to 100,000. Things are so different and you are having to do things differently as the red cross because of the pandemic. Tell us how different it is. Yes, the sheltering and the work of the red cross and the counties and all of our partners look very different because of covid. We have been training and preparing since march. We knew wildfire season was coming. We have been training volunteers, practicing to shoulder in the covid environment and trying to put people in hotel rooms first or encourage them to find friends and family and make sure they are covid free and not in high risk categories. We are being safe doing six feet apart, monitoring them as they come in and take temperatures. We have health checks, Public Health on board, isolation rooms if someone is sick. There are all sorts of precautions we are taking, our volunteers are prepared and ready. What you need are the donations and now we are up to 74,000 and we can go beyond that pushing up to 100,000. The wind is going to be pushing the worst of the air into the east bay into the trivalley and south bay into the shape of the valleys that collects such, smoke. For the east bay and south bay.
