Eight cars are involved in they are trying to push them over to the shoulder. It is blocking one or two lanes. There is a spill in the roadway so they will get some sand out there to absorb that. And then Treasure Island saw some brake lights on the westbound bay bridge around the incline. It is a little slow. Traffic lights are extended to the toll plaza. You will see the brake lights just past those areas. Westbound 580 is still a little sluggish near grand saline and were found 101 out of the south bay. We are tracking showers on high def doppler so we have a wet start to the day in spots and we will continue with off and on showers through hour day. And isolated thunderstorm is a possibility through our afternoon with enough instability. Temperatures will be cooler compared to yesterday. 65 in oakland and 68 in concord and 67 for san jose. Scattered showers today and we will keep the chance for a lingering shower tomorrow with partly sunny skies and High Pressure builds in wednesday and that means drier, warmer weather ahead with more sunshine wednesday, thursday and friday and we will continue with that warmup into the weekend. It is great to see the rain. We needed it. We have seen more rain for may then waited for all of february. That is a good thing. We need the sunshine anyway. We appreciate it.
