City of San Francisco Just Announced six new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the city to eight. Heres what we know about the new cases, three of the patients are women and three are men. Two of the patients are in their 20s, three are in their 30s. And one, is in their 50s. All six patients are isolated at home and are in good condition. The Health Department says each of them have no contact with a person, diagnosed with coronavirus. We are working closely with them and their families to ensure that their health is monitored and that all precautions are being taken to protect their health and the health of the public. We expect to get more confirmed cases. We have seen that in the state, and in our region and so this is not unexpected. Meanwhile today, Santa Clara County is reporting eight new cases of covid19, that brings the total number of cases in the county to 32. Now, to the latest on the coronavirus stricken cruise ship currently being held off the bay area coast. Kpix 5 news betty yu says pa evacuated. Ready . Reporter its important to know that this passengers sickness was unrelated to covid 19. Still, there are more than 3500 passengers aboard the grand princess. It was originally scheduled to return to San Francisco today, but right now, they are in limbo awaiting further information as to when and where that cruise ship will dock.
