campaigns did well tonight and they certainly had something to brag about. others almost called it quits. bernie sanders is the first non- president to snag back to back primaries. >> this victory here is the beginning of the end for donald trump. >> pete buttigieg had a strong finish. >> a campaign some said should not be here at all is here to stay. >> amy klobuchar is in third. she wrote was she won them over with her performance. >> because of you, we've taken this campaign to nevada. >> 20% say they prefer a nominee that can be president trump. >> it was a disappointing night for primary, which takes on new importance this year. a frightening armed robbery in oakland, suspects hold a gun to a man's head in front of his home in broad daylight. joe vasquez spoke to the victims uncle, who is demanding justice. >> it happened right in this driveway, where a man was washing his car when a pair of robbers came out of nowhere. freddie does not want his face on tv for safety reasons. his security camera captured the robbery. >> they told him to be quiet. >> it happened monday at 1:30 in the afternoon. you can seek clearly see the gun. robbers emptied his pockets and ran away. his nephew was unharmed but the robbers got away with the victim's wallet, cell phone, keys and jewelry. it was all worth a total of about $10,000. >> i walk my dog here all the time and i've never seen anything like that. so it is kind of scary. >> neighbors from the diamond district of oakland are aware of the long struggle with crime in the city. still seeing crimes in progress was traumatizing for this family and they want justice. >> we put in cameras and talked to the other neighbors and they will be putting in cameras as well. >> oakland police are investigating. so far, no arrests. bizarre testimony from a man accused of stabbing neil wilson to death, he took the stand in his own defense today. he is also accused of stabbing wilson's sister, who survived the attacks. he claims he hears aileen voices from technology implanted in his ear and at one point he said the wilson sisters were aliens who had kidnapped his grandmother and were threatening to assault her. >> it's very difficult, especially for the girls who have to sit here and hear him not owing up to what he does. >> he says he is not mentally competent for a trial. a psychologist disagrees and has accused him of putting on a show. the court resumes on thursday. a palo alto woman will be spending the night in her own home after two weeks under coronavirus quarantine in southern california. >> medina reports she's worried about the public response now that she is back. >> the government released 200 evacuees after they showed no symptoms of the coronavirus after 14 days, including esther, a palo alto restaurant a cap palo alto resident. after 14 days on a riverside military base. they opened up about why this ordeal may not be over. >> nobodies test results came out positive. >> she is experts say the official statistics do not include people who died from complications due to the fire. the number of additional deaths was based on wrongful death claims. faulty equipment was blamed
