Thousands of Mental Health clinicians are expected to walk off the job tomorrow at kaiser clinics across the state. 4,000 workers are expected to go on fiveday strike and plan to walk out at kaiser locations in oakland, walnut creek, and san jose and up to 100 locations. Workers say the kaiser Mental Health clinics are severely under staffed and some clinicians work after hours to serve more patients, so do most of their doctors. The San Bernardino county Sheriffs Department says search and rescue team member tim staples was found dead yesterday at the bottom of an ice chute. The 32yearold was a volunteer for the department and a high school teacher. Staples was part of a group out on the mountain yesterday looking for a missing hiker. Authorities say a search and rescue team member radioed in hed gotten separated from his partner after an apparent fall. Search is on for a pair of pot burglary suspects. An alarm went off at a marijuana business at 3 30 yesterday morning. Officers found six men loading three sedans with stolen pot. The suspects led police on a chase on highway 101. Police say they had to call off the chase because of safety concerns. The suspects . Theyre still at large. The long awaited commercial crab season finally kicking off today after several delays.
