Students that liked him said the passion for learning and giving back made him great. A love of math and sciences is something he shared with his daughter ken dra, a marine biologies in ventura and fellow driver. Both were on board at the time of the fire and assumed dead. I was in the classroom with students when the principal went in to read the statement and let them know. It was utter shock. Reporter grief counselors are on campus to support the student body and faculty and staff. They knot the news yesterday afternoon and said theyre stig struggling to make sense of it all.
