You think this came from somebody on the persky side . No not at all. And the level of attacks theyre engaging in against me is causing these kinds of people who would send these kinds of threats to feel empowered to do it. I believe she cannot point to one thing, one sentence, one word that the opposition to the recall has utilized that can be characterized hateful or violent. She believes todays threat was likely a fake as those who oppose the recall find more support months before his fate is decided. Ultimately its up to voters to decide what happens. Criminal defense attorney tony brass says the short time frame means more evidence than usual will be available to the prosecution in this case. Things like their clothing that would have blood and other types of things like that, weapons may still be available. All of those things would be right there and fresh before they could be washed or gotten rid of. Tonight bart is making a clean sweep at some of its filthiest stations. Its not just about sanitation, its also about creating a sense of safety. The trains are crowdeded, often delayed and when you step up in downtown San Francisco sometimes its like walking into a toilet and not a safe one at that. I go out maybe once or twice a week but my wife goes here everyday and i honestly worry about her. I just got back from tokyo so compared to that its not at all clean. We see the same things. We smell the same things. Ridership is down about 3 . None of this is news to the bart director. He spent the past few months going out and helping the stations in his district. They actually do work im told although it doesnt look like it. You smell pot . Its legal, sorry, forgot. This station has definitely improved in its cleanliness. But as you know upstairs youve got drug dealing, youve got crime. What people feel is theres a sense of lawlessness around bart. And its effecting our bottom line. What do you do about Something Like this. You want me to call somebody . Youll be okay, all right. One change is the clean up crews are working days as well as nights. The idea is to have more people in the stations that need the most cleaning. Makes sense on the surface and you would think we would have thought of this earlier. We just added 21 new custodians to our budget so now we have 148. Bart is offering the homeless services. But for those who say no there are a number of people who just simply wont accept that. So bart police have the mandate to keep people moving now. Were here in San Francisco one of the busiest stations and as you can see the escalator in this entrance is already broken. So people coming down here dont have the greatest impression. Thats why bart will now be pushing to try to at least make it cleaner and safer because theyre losing riders and that means losing money and as we all know money talks. Phil matier, kpix5. If youve ever flown a drone you know how easy it is to crash it now imagine getting your best shot without ever doing a thing. You essentially need an expert pilot for it to be useful. So you basically hold joysticks and control it and if you know what youre doing you can do incredible things. I would say most people take it out of the box and crash into a tree which is the end of the experience. Ceo and cofounder adam brie grew up flying radio controlled planes. That led him to create the r1 drone. I was a grad student at mit where i met my cofounders. And our lab was one of the first to use cameras and lasers to fly themselves around. The r1 can track your every move using 13 cameras and advanced artificial intelligence. It cans your body, your clothes, and your individual movement. Lets see what it can do. No matter how fast i ran and how many twists and turns i took the r1 had its eyes on me or should i say its 13 cameras on me following my every move. Its the first of its kind to have so many cameras on it flying up to 25 miles per hour. The r1 even uses those cameras to fly over and around other objects and people in its path. So it uses a deep Neural Network thats been trained to recognize people. It basically looks out, ifs all of the people that it sees and it also builds up a unique identifier so the color of your hair, the color of your shirt, hague and these types of things to tell you apart hague and these types of things to tell you height and these types of things to tell you apart.
