The police chief is asking the Current City Council to overturn the 20yearold ban to allow his officers to use pepper spray on violent protesters. He says teargas hurts everyone in the crowd but they could use pepper spray to target individuals. Anyone who is committing violent on another human being should be taken out of the crowd.
