He allegedly attacked an officer punching him to the point where the officer almost blacked out. They say the officer fired his gun in selfdefense killing the 19yearold man. He was a sweet boy. Reporter his family doesnt buy any of this. In fact, demings mother says cops raided her home held her at gunpoint and didnt say her son was dead until the search was over. His father a reserve Police Officer at a Different Department doesnt understand how a burglary call ended in death. United Airlines Flights are back in the skies after being grounded this morning. The bay areas Busiest Airline left thousands of passengers stranded for hours. Heres a live look at sfo where Authorities Say the airline has recovered from that morning glitch. There are no residual delays right now. That trouble started at around 5 a. M. United flights across the country were grounded because of computer problems. A spokesman said they had to fix a router issue. 4900 flights couldnt take off for nearly two hours causing long lines at Customer Service and major travel delays. This is the airlines second major computer issue in the last five weeks. Officials say the exchange updated Software Last night and solved a minor connectivity issue right before the open. But the system crashed midday. Otherrer changes remained operating as usual. They decided the best thing to do to protect people is to shut down the market. The nasdaq was unaffected by the outage and its stock lifted on the nyse continued to trade. This brings back memories from two years ago when the nasdaq halted trading for several hours because of a Technical Glitch. The New York Stock Exchange kept in close contact with washington during the outage and both confirmed there was no indication of any cyber attack. Stock exchange took a plunge. The dow was down to a five month low. Experts say the down day is also because chinas falling stock market and fears about greece. Adding to the technical difficulties, the wall street journal had a rough start. The website homepage was not accessible. Actor tom selleck is under fire for allegedly stealing truckloads of water in this historic drought. A lawsuit claims he had huge amounts of water from a public hydrant delivered to his Southern California ranch. A Ventura County Water District says the tanker truck filled up more than a dozen times. The district hired a private investigator leading to the lawsuit.
