As secret Service Officers respond to a vehicle attempting to breach the white house grounds. A suspicious vehicle at 17th and e street northwest. The woman in custody tonight, according to witnesses ignored repeated orders to stop trying to get through the barriers in the white van. If convicted the two could face 94 years in prison each. A bay area assemblyman is proposing a bill that would classify guy version therapy as consumer fraud. Version therapy is a practice which has been around for decades. It aims to change a persons Sexual Orientation through counseling, hypnosis and in some cases electric shock treatment. The practice has already been outallow lawed in california for minors. The new proposed measure would extend the ban to adults. The American Medical Association and American Psychological association deemed this harmful and hurtfu practice. We want to ensure that consumers are protected and that they know that this is considered fraud. The proposed bill would allow people to sue for consumer fraud. A number of other states including massachusetts and illinois have passed similar bans on version therapy for minors.
