It was all about the gun today at the kate steinle murder trial, an undocumented immigrant shot on San Francisco water front two years ago, was it accident as the defense argues . Defense attorney Matt Gonzalez told reporters he personally handled the gun to kill kate steinle and found the trigger pull to be light and wants the jury to do the same. Anybody who believes this gun cannot fire accidentally, i have no doubt that that would settle it. Gonzalez tried to make the case that even a child could have fired the gun accidentally. Gonzalez who is defending his client said he found the gun in a piece of cloth under a swivel chair on the pier and that it went off accidentally.
