A slough of severe storms once again slamming the midwest, with at least 20 tornados reported in iowa. Thats according to the National Weather service. Oh, yeah. There she is. Tornado on the ground. Officials say multiple people were killed there, and dozens more have been injured. The twisters tearing down structures across that state, including this wind turbine in prescott that caught fire. Further north in the hardhit town of greenfield, many homes were reduced to rubble. The hospital there also damaged, forcing people who needed treatment to go to other facilities. Authorities issued a mandatory curfew overnight. And iowas governor announced a disaster declaration for several counties. She is expected to visit greenfield to inspect the damage later this morning. And the Severe Weather is lingering today. Heres Angie Lassman with the latest on that threat. We have another round of strong storms on tap, waking up to rain across the great lakes but mainly from texas to ohio and stretching into the northeast as we get into the afternoon hours. 44 Million People included in this.
