The agency giving us this video of crew members testing out their new Emergency Response vehicles, or ervs. The allterrain vehicles will access remote areas that traditional fire trucks and engines cannot get to. All right. Certainly hot outside. In the next couple of days were going to see some fire danger elevated as well, jeff. Yeah. So with those higher temperatures the humidity lowers. Today we did have some breezy to windy conditions in the hills. Definitely puts a lot of us on edge this time of the year. But i do have some calmer winds coming over the next 24 hours. That is a little bit of good news right now. As we get the overall perspective of whats happening, its all about this area of high pressure. Its building in pretty strong, this big dome of heat sitting across the west, helping to boost up our temperatures, and just kick up a little bit of wind i think over the next 24 hours. Again, things are overall calming down, but i did want to show you as we head through tomorrow morning, it will be about 5 to about 15 miles per hour. And the most important thing to Pay Attention to with wind is which direction is it moving from . And you can see around santa ro rose helena and vacaville very dry wind that helps to lower humidity and also increases those temperatures. So not extremely gusty, but again, a hot day on the way. Then notice this. By tomorrow night the wind begins to change, its coming more out of the west and thats a cooler wind that will help to drop our temperatures. So as we head through tomorrow morning were going to start off with some upper 60s to he 70. Its going tieb mild start for us. 70 in the south bay at 67. Also have you at 71 in the east bay. Peninsula also bringing in the heat. Palo alto at 93. San francisco i have you at 80 in the mission. But look at that microclimate difference. Go to the marina youre at a cooler 66 as you get some of that ocean breeze moving right into your doorstep. 95 in napa and 96 in novato. My extended forecast in San Francisco some 70s the next two days then we drop it off a few degrees as we head through this upcoming weekend and for those inland valleys hot, hot, hot tomorrow. 97 degrees. And then we go down to some low 90s as we move into this weekend. And we have some 80s as we move into next week. So yes, some like it hot. Others not so much.
