Its its playing on juxtapositions because, you know, you want to make music you that dance to and you want to have fun with but if you listen to the lyrics theres always like a deeper meaning and thats something i feel especially with my first record like a lot of the songs that i made were quite sad but i still wanted to dance. I wanted to do both of them together and that trickled into the second record. And not that, you know, a song like break my heart is sad but i see it more as a a celebration of vulnerability and that part of falling in love but you just never know its the excitement and the unsurety and, you know, the what ifs and thats jimmy and talking about more of a now moment i mean, what is going on no one even really knows i mean, you probably didnt plan on people having private dance parties to your music indoors and not going to clubs but thats the case. Yeah. I, you know, i didnt think so but i think dancing in the kitchen works just fine. Jimmy so now we know what your next videos going to be. Oh, my god. Jimmy how did you get involved with unicef well, i went last year and did some work with unicef. I went down to lebanon and im very close to the refugee situation in the world i guess first and foremost because my parents were refugees when they moved to the uk but also just because i feel like in the current climate its an ongoing issue. And especially now with covid19, i feel like, you know, children and refugees, theyre constantly living in such overcrowded places and so often they cant you know, they cant selfisolate. You know, i feel like theyre the most at risk at the moment and i feel like we really need to be supporting charities that are, you know. Also working with like World Health Organizations to really combat the problem and unicef is someone that really does that jimmy they really do i really think everyone should donate whatever they can to unicef. Jimmy whatever it is from what ive seen on the ground and especially now with what theyre doing through covid19 and trying to tackle that. Especially for overcrowd ed refugee camps its incredibly important i really believe that we should unite.
