No known history and no known of exposure to someone with known covid19. She was transferred by ambulance to the uc davis med kp kpmedical center. But the cdc waited until sunday to conduct the test. Health officials must retrace her footsteps and isolate people who may have been expose. After the state deemed changes this morning, he said the krch dc has agreed to send more tests and change requirements for testing. It shows that man collecting cans and bottles for recycling in the bayview district. Hate view langua hateful language is used. City leaders come together calling for unity. I would never want anyone to treat my grandmother the way that i saw an elderly person treated here. We are better than that. Thats right. We are better than that. Police believe grayson was also involved with recording and posting that video to social media. Look at this, knocked down, dragged and her purse taken. A woman is recovering it tonight after two purse snatchers, can you see it there, roughed her up. This is a video posted to facebook. You see the robbers and the woman struggling for her purse. This happened sunday at stockton and sacramento in chinatown. Eventually, they did get the purse and drive off. The woman luckily has minor injuries. B. A. R. T. s new police chief is addressing concerns about racial profiling. He has promised more training for officers and vowed to review the departments policies and implement recommended changes. At the end of the day, our main goal as a Police Department is to be professional, be fair and be equitable. New map shows that more than 23 of the state is now in a moderate drought. Were talking about the areas in beige, including contra costa and solano counties. This last week, less than 10 of the state was considered to be in a moderate drought. This comes as california has one of the biggest droughts in history. A 94 drop since february. Hoping for a miracle march, but it doesnt look like its being forecast. I hope its not the beginning of a fiveyear drought or threeyear drought. Overall, 70 of the state is abnormally dry or in a moderate drought. Is this a hole we can time to big ourselves out of . I think we can still make a dent in it. I dont think we need to panic about a drought as bad as the last time around, but its certainly worth paying attention to, as we have been following this now for weeks and even longer. This dry trend that we would settle into. So, as we bring you into our Sierra Snowpack, get you the latest, and you can see statewide, were 46 of normal. Thats the yellow color here for most of the state. 23. 34 of california now a moderate drought, including chico, parts of the bay area, not only from the low snowpack but our rain season. Six to 11 inches behind. The moderate drought has started to push back in and is over contra costa, alameda counties, napa, danville, san ramon, berkley, oakland all in that moderate drought right now. The Silver Lining we can report to all of this is because of such a strong water year last year. Also a lot of rain in december. Most of our large reservoirs are at or above historical averages. Reporter the north Bay Health Care Group Confirms doctors and staff at their vacaville hospital treated the coronavirus patient for three days without knowing what was wrong with her. When her condition worsened, she was taken by ambulance to Uc Davis Medical Center where she tested positive for the coronavirus. The patient may have exposed dozens, but less than 100 hospital staffers. Those who had the highest risk of exposure are staying home and monitoring themselves. Thats good to hear. Reassurance. Reporter its people like ellie west of fairfield who face the biggest risk if they are exposed to coronavirus. Her health is already compromised, specifically, her kidneys, who require dialysis three times a week. What else can you do . All you can do is hope. The official recommendation from the government is no, you do not need a mask. Today the cdc tweeted to 1. 41 million followers, cdc does not currently recommend the use of face masks to help prevent spread of coronavirus. This doctor, a leader in Infectious Disease reiterated the stance and told us there are two more important steps you should take. Masks make little sense. Be careful about how you interact with people, and wash your hands. Wash your hands. Nonetheless, masks are in short supplies. We called a couple local Hardware Stores and all were sold out. The prices have soared. We asked big retailers today, walmart, amazon and ebay whether theyre providing information or policing advertising claims many they did not respond. Check the fine print.
